The course will develop a series of coordinated exercises to allow the students to understand, use and control advanced geometries, 3D design skills and methods of digital fabrication, which they can incorporate seamlessly in studio.

Kevin Fernandez - Assignment 1A
I studied the leg of a beetle and attempted to model 2 portions of it. I mostly used the extrude command on the faces and edges.
Using the Natural Contours of the human foot, we created a breathable shoe that allows natural movement. The shoe is easily placed on the foot and reinforces itself only in the most comfortable areas. One example of the simplicity we reached for can be seen in the example below.
