Assignment 1A - Maria Mouzinho

Butterfly Wings under microscope

 Two-faced

The first iteration was to explore the tools and possibilities. Based on the research, I wanted to play with the form by extruding the "faces".
By doing so, one side of the sphere had cavities, and the other spikes.

Spiky Wing

For the second iteration, I used the "cone" and resized the circular bottom. This time I extruded the "edges" in the same way I did previously with the sphere, ending up with sharper edges.
