Joseph Malloch and Ian Hattwick: prosthetic musical instruments, including an external spine and a touch-sensitive rib cage, that create music in response to body gestures. Each instrument can be played in a traditional hand-held way, but can also be attached to the body, freeing a dancer to twist, spin and move to create sound. 




Artist Lesia Trubat used new technology in order to transform a traditional ballet shoe into a digital paintbrush. The unique works of art allow dancers to keep a physical memory of their movements.

I used 2 different orientations of my models. One in an L shape configuration focusing on more slender bridging, and the 2nd, with a side to side configuration focusing on heavier mass bridging. I used extrude, rotate, bridge, lattice box, insert edge loop, and move commands.
