The First step is to import the files together so that they are in the same file. The following step is to join the two meshes that way they can be worked with. After this the main commands used were bridging and append to polygon, depending on the faces. There were different bridges created from the two objects, followed by then bridging the bridge which was created
Using the Natural Contours of the human foot, we created a breathable shoe that allows natural movement. The shoe is easily placed on the foot and reinforces itself only in the most comfortable areas. One example of the simplicity we reached for can be seen in the example below.
I used 2 different orientations of my models. One in an L shape configuration focusing on more slender bridging, and the 2nd, with a side to side configuration focusing on heavier mass bridging. I used extrude, rotate, bridge, lattice box, insert edge loop, and move commands.
