I wanted to create a ring that would be comfortable to wear while keeping its free-form shape so that the user could play with it easily. The area on the top of the ring is made to be used to hold something small that could be rested there. Within the ring, there are holes that could possibly hold something slim for example a pencil giving the ring a possibility to help people to write and draw as well.
Using the Natural Contours of the human foot, we created a breathable shoe that allows natural movement. The shoe is easily placed on the foot and reinforces itself only in the most comfortable areas. One example of the simplicity we reached for can be seen in the example below.
I used 2 different orientations of my models. One in an L shape configuration focusing on more slender bridging, and the 2nd, with a side to side configuration focusing on heavier mass bridging. I used extrude, rotate, bridge, lattice box, insert edge loop, and move commands.
