The course will develop a series of coordinated exercises to allow the students to understand, use and control advanced geometries, 3D design skills and methods of digital fabrication, which they can incorporate seamlessly in studio.

Studying the terms of the antennas of small insects I tried to warp and distort that to create a unique cast like in 2 different forms. I tried to keep the purpose of the antenna consistent as it is a sense of smell so there are small areas that are meant to represent sense of smell.
Using the Natural Contours of the human foot, we created a breathable shoe that allows natural movement. The shoe is easily placed on the foot and reinforces itself only in the most comfortable areas. One example of the simplicity we reached for can be seen in the example below.
I used 2 different orientations of my models. One in an L shape configuration focusing on more slender bridging, and the 2nd, with a side to side configuration focusing on heavier mass bridging. I used extrude, rotate, bridge, lattice box, insert edge loop, and move commands.
