Sketches by Camila Lohezic and Jessica Melgar

Having an interest in spiders led us to look at a spider webs and take inspiration from their flexible yet strong structure. The spider itself also has very interesting qualities.

Putting these interests together to build a hat is a pursuit that is not only creative and inspired by nature, but it is also architectural in the sense that it is derived from a grid, has an order, and is an intelligent mode of structure.
