We Have been working on various preliminary designs as we look to move forward to bring together our experimental forms into one synergism project.

Experiments in finding Parametric Forms based

on Snake skin and Bird feathers:

Experiment in using Voronoi formed walls to create interconnecting spaces representing the

structure and ratio of the human arm

Experiment in using negative space of a parametric pattern to create a cavernous space

to disorientate the user of the pavilion and create a space that evokes emotion from its forms.

FINAL ASSIGNMENT EVR 5176 RICHARD TOWNSEND + JOSE MORENO

INITIAL SKETCHES THE ORIGINAL IDEA CONSISTED OF A BACK BRACE THAT WOULD CONFORM TO THE BODY FOR PEOPLE THAT SUFFER FROM SCOLIOSIS AND WOULD BE MODELED AFTER THE HUMAN ANATOMY. WEARABLE AS THE WEARABLE PROGRESSED WE DECIDED TO CONFORM THE TENSION BANDS THAT MAKE UP THE WEARABLE TO THE MUSCLES OF THE BODY. PAVILION THE PAVILIONS ORIGINAL FORM WAS BASED OFF A CURVED SPINE MUCH LIKE A PERSON WHO SUFFERS FROM SCOLIOSIS AND THE "RIBBED" ELEMENTS HELP ENCLOSE THE SPACE IN ORDER TO MIMIC THE HUMAN ANATOMY.
