Assignment 3.A --Jessica Melgar + Camila Lohezic

Updates on our hat / pavilion:

The intention for the wearable was to make a veil-like hat, so we articulated certain forms and details to get closer to our goal. We also shaped the hat to fit a human head more realistically, moving from a symmetrical sphere to a more oval shape.

For the pavilion, we realized that the form was not very structural and needed a more realistic sense of weight-bearing columns. The first image below shows the transformation from our initial pavilion  (left) to it's development (right).

Below is a perspective that is near eye-level. We think that this pavilion might be used for music shows, to take advantage of the dome and the framed views created by the columns, or "spider legs."
