This pavilion was inspired by our wearables attributes which was created by learning from a feathers structure. It consists of a structure which stands on the spike's edges allowing a semi transparent situation, where the 'skeleton' extends and curves, creating a bench as well as an obvious entrance. It welcomes pedestrians to peak inside and although it might not seam comfortable from the exterior because of its rough aesthetic, its small interior allows for comfortable conversation between 3 or 4 people.
INITIAL SKETCHES THE ORIGINAL IDEA CONSISTED OF A BACK BRACE THAT WOULD CONFORM TO THE BODY FOR PEOPLE THAT SUFFER FROM SCOLIOSIS AND WOULD BE MODELED AFTER THE HUMAN ANATOMY. WEARABLE AS THE WEARABLE PROGRESSED WE DECIDED TO CONFORM THE TENSION BANDS THAT MAKE UP THE WEARABLE TO THE MUSCLES OF THE BODY. PAVILION THE PAVILIONS ORIGINAL FORM WAS BASED OFF A CURVED SPINE MUCH LIKE A PERSON WHO SUFFERS FROM SCOLIOSIS AND THE "RIBBED" ELEMENTS HELP ENCLOSE THE SPACE IN ORDER TO MIMIC THE HUMAN ANATOMY.
