The course will develop a series of coordinated exercises to allow the students to understand, use and control advanced geometries, 3D design skills and methods of digital fabrication, which they can incorporate seamlessly in studio.

Assignment 3A Updated (Richard Townsend + Jose Moreno)
For this update we focused on modeling the shoulders pushing out from the chest as continuous axis in order to rest more comfortably upon your shoulders. As for the pavilion we made the space smaller and focused on modeling the bone fragments to connect to the new entrance and perimeter.
Using the Natural Contours of the human foot, we created a breathable shoe that allows natural movement. The shoe is easily placed on the foot and reinforces itself only in the most comfortable areas. One example of the simplicity we reached for can be seen in the example below.
