Assignment 3A (UPDATES) - Verlan Eugene & Zair Toloza

Initially a Tie was created and morphed based on the application. The pavilion will take on the qualities of a tie where the "tail" creates a welcoming gesture into the pavilion. Just as a tie constricts so will the pavilion. As you enter the space the pavilion compresses to create an intimate environment.

Using the Natural Contours of the human foot, we created a breathable shoe that allows natural movement. The shoe is easily placed on the foot and reinforces itself only in the most comfortable areas. One example of the simplicity we reached for can be seen in the example below.

I used 2 different orientations of my models. One in an L shape configuration focusing on more slender bridging, and the 2nd, with a side to side configuration focusing on heavier mass bridging. I used extrude, rotate, bridge, lattice box, insert edge loop, and move commands.
