Pavilion KEVIN VERES and LAUREN GRZENDA

Our concept uses the logic of attraction points pulling spheres to a location. For our Pavilion we wanted it to represent the same logic. We developed a script to have attraction points and show spheres growing as they move to a higher altitude.
The spheres in the pavilion located higher than others are accumulating eachother and growth happens. This is also a technique utilized in order to created a shaded space, as the higher they go they are closer together and provide more shade.
A connection structure happens between the spheres to facilitate construction and rigidity.

I used 2 different orientations of my models. One in an L shape configuration focusing on more slender bridging, and the 2nd, with a side to side configuration focusing on heavier mass bridging. I used extrude, rotate, bridge, lattice box, insert edge loop, and move commands.
